This physical education class is based on the premise that students can learn to develop personal fitness goals and work towards achieving them. This course will incorporate the development of the 4 basic components of physical fitness; Strength, Flexibility, Agility, and Cardiovascular Endurance. In addition, Social and Personal Responsibility as well as Communication skills will be emphasized. Throughout various activities, students in this program will learn how to incorporate physical activity into their daily lives. In addition, we hope to instill enjoyment of physical activity, as well as an understanding of the importance of maintaining fitness.
